Poor Henry Hudson
July 15, 2009

Jessica DuLong
Poor Henry. After NOT discovering a passage to China on the Hudson River, he tries to cross the Arctic, gets locked in the ice for 7 months, until finally his crew mutinies and casts him, his son, and a handful of scurvy-plagued sailors adrift in a small boat in Canada, never to be seen again.
He never knew his influence--that globalization began with him.
